Principles of sexual reproduction of plants; selection methods - inheritance and segregation of traits; Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium; phenotype vs genotype - calculation of heritability; test crosses and combining ability; genotype by enviroment interaction and calculation of stability parameters;
Biotechnology in plant breeding: molecular marker, genetic mapping, excursions to Prof. Buerstmayrs lab at IFA-Tulln.
