Students will acquire sufficient bases in Plant Biotechnology to be able to:
+ evaluate independently technical and legal issues of safety aspects related to Plant Biotechnology
+ compare and judge different breeding methods mutagenesis ´ irradiation ´ genetic transformation
+ recognize safety classifications of Organisms
+ be familiar with the legal bases for safety evaluation
+ follow IPRs linked to plants and plant products
+ actively discuss major benefits and concerns raised in relation to GMPs
Exam method:
active participation and the presentation of a selected topic will be considered for evaluation
