Course content:
Importance of vegetable production, nutritional value and quality of vegetables, growing conditions: substrates, fertilisation, irrigation, hydroponics, harvest, storage, basic features of protected cultivation.
Learning outcomes:
Overview of the development, nutritional importance and necessity of vegetable growing. Recognition of both practical and scientific problems and development of possible solutions.
Exam method:
At least 3 dates per semester are offered. In principle, the examinations are planned as attendance examinations in written form. Due to COVID-19, depending on the development of the situation, they are switched to online mode. The exam is designed in the form of open questions and some multiple choice questions.

1 (Very good) 100-90%
2 (good) 89-80% (good)
3 (Satisfactory) 79-64
4 (Sufficient) 63-51%
5 (Insufficient) 50% and less
The attached questions are only sample questions and not identical exam questions. They serve the purpose of better learning orientation. It is planned to revise the questions after each lecture series.
