Course content:
Horticultural topics are offered (see BOKU learn!).
In particular, topics related to sustainability, climate change, resilience, resource efficiency and innovation are offered.
Own ideas can also be carried out, as far as it is within our possibilities and in accordance with the basic scientific idea.
Interdisciplinarity is realised through cooperation of lecturers from different universities and other institutions or through cooperation with farmers and advisors.
Expected previous knowledge:
A completed Bachelor's degree is desirable; fixed placement preferred for Master's students.
Learning outcomes:
Learning, acquisition and application of scientific methods and scientific action and thinking within the framework of experiments of the institute or small student projects.

Further development of skills and knowledge in the processing and presentation of data and literature. Preparation of a seminar paper (also possible in small groups).
Teaching and learning methods:
Written project work and presentation with the handout; In the event of a critical COVID-19 situation, alternative methods of completion are offered.
Exam method:
written and oral, in the case of critical COVID-19 situation alternative methods will be offered.
