• Know the basic principles of diagnosis, biology and control measures of economic important stored product pests and diseases.
• Understand the ecology of stored product pests.
• Identify the most important pests and diseases of stored products (cereals, fruits, vegetables).
• Assess qualitative and quantitative post-harvest changes and storage losses.
• Apply methods of early detection of infestations and biotechnical monitoring techniques.
• Know techniques of fresh storage and stockpiling, preventive storage techniques, mechanical and physical methods for control of stored products pests and diseases.
