Knowledge of Crop Sciences at Bachelor level
Learning outcomes:
Graduates of the course
+ formulate research questions and hypotheses and to understand their significance in terms of their Master's thesis
+ perform experimental design for field trials and laboratory tests by
+ know specific field measurement techniques for crop production
+ know typical parameters for issues related to plant protection
+ know specialized databases for literature search and can also perform a targeted literature review for e.g. their master's thesis
+ are familiar with the structure of scientific works, in particular master's thesis' and understand the importance of different sections like Abstract, Introduction, Materials & Methods, Results and Discussion.
