Course content:
The excursion in 2021 consists of
- a preliminary introduction (virtual)
- three excursion days to selected Austrian viticultural regions
- presentation day with impressions and discussion (virtual)
Expected previous knowledge:
Previous knowledge in plant productions systems (ideally in viticulture) is expected.
Learning outcomes:
Students:
• increase their knowledge about European wine growing area.
• understand the diverstiy different viticultural management and wine production systems of selected wine growers.
• discuss about innovative aapproaches/methods for a sustainable wine production
Teaching and learning methods:
Compulsory attendance! The grading is "mit Erfolg teilgenommen"
